Tulsa Fit 66 Challenge

Tulsa 66ers dance team members and business staff representatives recently announced Salk Elementary School as the winner of the 2011 Fit 66 Challenge.

The FIT 66 Challenge was a 66-day physical activity program sponsored by Academy Sports and Outdoors, Tulsa County Health Department and the Tulsa 66ers. The program challenged students in first through fifth grades throughout the Tulsa County to complete a physical activity goal each week.

By recording the most participation than any other school in the contest, Salk Elementary was awarded with a $1,000 gift card to Academy Sports and Outdoors.
